Privacy

Your data, plainly explained.

pikmi collects as little as possible and sells nothing. This page lists exactly what is stored and why, in plain language.

What pikmi stores

Nothing until you sign in. Browsing works with no account and no tracking.

If you create an account, pikmi stores what the sign-in provider shares: your display name, your avatar, and, for Google sign-ins, your email address. Steam shares no email. pikmi never sees or stores a password, since signing in happens entirely on Google's or Steam's own pages.

From there, pikmi keeps your wishlist (which games you hearted and when), your notification settings, and, if you enable alerts, the push subscription your browser generates so alerts can reach your device. If you import your Steam wishlist, pikmi reads the list once to match games and stores only the matches.

How it is used

Two things only: syncing your list across your devices, and sending the release and pre-order alerts you asked for. Your data is never sold, shared with advertisers, or used to build a profile of you.

Cookies and analytics

pikmi sets no tracking cookies. Your browser's local storage holds caches and preferences (like your theme) on your device only. Traffic is measured with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not identify individual visitors.

Third parties

Sign-in is handled by Google and Steam under their own privacy policies. The site is served through Cloudflare. Store buttons take you to the store's own site, where their rules apply. Some Amazon links are affiliate links: as an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases, and Amazon may set its own cookies on amazon.ca.

Deleting your data

Signing out removes pikmi's session from your device. To delete your account and everything stored with it (wishlist, settings, push subscriptions), email from any address and name your account. Deletion is manual right now and handled within a few days.

Changes

This policy is effective July 9, 2026. If pikmi's data practices change, this page changes with them.
